THE LAUNDRY ROOM COLLECTIVE
TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: June 1, 2026

By booking services with The Laundry Room Collective, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and policies.

GENERAL SERVICE POLICIES

• All laundry orders are weighed upon processing using clean, dry weight, not pickup weight.

• Clothing requested on hangers will be weighed with the hangers included in the total order weight.

• Clients requesting items to be returned on hangers must provide appropriate hangers with their order.

• A $35 minimum applies to all two-day turnaround orders.

• A $45 minimum applies to all next-day or expedited orders.

• Free pickup and delivery applies within a 20-mile service radius. Orders outside of 20 miles may incur an additional delivery fee, which will be determined at the time of booking.

• Orders exceeding 100 pounds, oversized orders, specialty-care items, and items requiring hang drying may require an additional business day to complete.

• Turnaround times are based on business days. The Laundry Room Collective operates Monday through Friday and does not regularly process, pick up, or deliver orders on weekends.

• Thursday and Friday pickups may be returned on Monday due to our weekend closure.

• Prices, services, minimums, and fees are subject to change. The pricing listed on our website or booking platform at the time of booking will apply unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

LAUNDRY PRODUCTS & ADD-ONS

• Standard detergent is included with wash-and-fold service. Clients may select scented Tide or All Free Clear hypoallergenic detergent.

• Clients may provide their own detergent or laundry products. Any client-provided products must be clearly labeled and included with the order.

• Optional laundry add-ons must be selected before processing begins. Requests submitted after processing has started may not be accommodated.

LAUNDRY CARE

• Unless otherwise requested by the client, all items are washed in cold water and dried on medium heat.

• Clients are responsible for reviewing garment-care labels and separating and clearly labeling any delicate, air-dry, hang-dry, low-heat, or special-care items prior to pickup.

• Special-care items must be physically separated from the remaining laundry. Verbal instructions alone may not be sufficient when multiple items are included in an order.

• Hang-dry and other specialty-care items may require additional turnaround time.

• The Laundry Room Collective does not accept period underwear, reusable menstrual products, or other items deemed unsanitary for standard wash-and-fold processing.

• The Laundry Room Collective is not responsible for damage to items that are not separated and clearly labeled with special-care instructions.

• While every effort is made to care for garments properly, we are not responsible for normal wear and tear, color bleeding, fading, shrinkage, manufacturer defects, loose buttons, weak seams, damaged zippers, embellishments, decals, previously damaged items, inaccurate or missing care labels, or issues resulting from the age, condition, or construction of an item.

• Some stains, odors, discoloration, lint, pet hair, or residue may not be completely removable through normal laundering. Processing an item does not guarantee that it will be restored to its original condition.

• The Laundry Room Collective may decline to follow care instructions that conflict with the manufacturer’s care label or could reasonably damage the item or laundry equipment.

• Ironing and steaming services are not offered.

SPECIALTY & OVERSIZED ITEMS

• Comforters, blankets, weighted blankets, heated blankets, machine-washable rugs, and other specialty items may be subject to additional item fees.

• Acceptance of specialty or oversized items depends on the item’s care label, material, condition, size, weight, and available machine capacity.

• The Laundry Room Collective reserves the right to decline any item that cannot be safely processed in our equipment.

UNSANITARY & HAZARDOUS ITEMS

• A $20 unsanitary item fee will be added for loads containing heavily soiled items involving bodily fluids or biohazards, including but not limited to feces, urine, vomit, blood, or excessive mildew.

• The fee may also apply to orders containing pest evidence, infestation, heavy grease, chemical residue, strong contamination, or other substances requiring special handling or additional sanitation.

• Clients are responsible for disclosing known contamination before pickup.

• Payment of the unsanitary fee does not guarantee that an order will be accepted or processed.

• The Laundry Room Collective reserves the right to refuse or stop processing items deemed unsafe, hazardous, infested, unsuitable for residential laundry equipment, or excessively contaminated.

ORDER SEPARATION & SANITATION

• Client orders are processed and kept separately. Laundry, bags, labels, hangers, and special-care items belonging to different clients are not intentionally combined.

• Equipment, baskets, folding areas, and work surfaces are inspected and cleaned between client orders as appropriate.

• Additional cleaning and sanitation procedures may be completed when visible contamination, residue, bodily fluids, pests, strong odors, or other cross-contact concerns are identified.

• Clean laundry will not be returned in a visibly dirty or contaminated laundry bag.

PREPARING LAUNDRY FOR PICKUP

• Laundry should be placed in securely closed, standard 13-gallon bags unless another arrangement has been approved.

• Clients are responsible for checking pockets, separating special-care items, including requested hangers, and making the laundry accessible before the scheduled pickup window.

• Loose laundry should not be left outside or in an unsecured location unless contactless pickup has been arranged.

• Donation boxes, large donation lots, and items not intended for personal laundry service are not accepted.

PICKUP & DELIVERY POLICIES

• Clients are responsible for ensuring laundry is accessible during the scheduled pickup window.

• A $15 missed pickup fee will apply if we arrive for pickup and no laundry is available after reasonable attempts to contact the client.

• The missed pickup fee may also apply if the pickup location cannot be safely accessed, required gate or entry information was not provided, or the client does not respond to reasonable contact attempts.

• Pickup and delivery windows are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, route changes, order volume, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

• Pickup and delivery appointments are provided as time windows and are not guaranteed exact appointment times.

• Repeated missed pickups may result in the loss of recurring route priority or suspension of future service.

CONTACTLESS PICKUP & DELIVERY

• Clients may authorize contactless pickup or delivery at a designated location.

• The client is responsible for choosing a safe, accessible, weather-protected, and reasonably secure location.

• Once an order is delivered to the client’s designated location, responsibility for the laundry transfers to the client.

• The Laundry Room Collective is not responsible for theft, weather exposure, animals, insects, property-management removal, or other loss or damage occurring after delivery.

• Photographs, messages, or electronic delivery records may be used as confirmation that an order was delivered.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

• Pickup cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least three hours before the scheduled pickup window.

• Repeated last-minute cancellations or rescheduling requests may result in a service fee, loss of recurring route priority, suspension of service, or refusal of future bookings.

PAYMENT

• Clients must create an account through The Laundry Room Collective’s booking platform and maintain a valid payment card on file.

• Once the clean, dry weight and applicable charges are entered, the payment card on file may be charged automatically.

• Payment is due before delivery unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

• Orders may be held until payment is received in full.

• Any invoice not paid within 24 hours of issuance will incur a $25 late fee.

• Any invoice remaining unpaid may result in paused or discontinued services, cancellation of recurring service, or termination of the client’s account.

• Clients are responsible for keeping their payment and contact information current.

• Orders that remain unpaid for more than seven business days after delivery notification may be considered abandoned property. To the extent permitted by law, The Laundry Room Collective reserves the right to donate, dispose of, or otherwise relinquish possession of unclaimed items without further liability.

• Any outstanding balance, late fee, or other applicable charge may remain due even if the laundry is not claimed.

PERSONAL ITEMS & POCKET CHECK DISCLAIMER

• Clients are responsible for checking all pockets and bags before pickup.

• The Laundry Room Collective is not responsible for lost or damaged valuables left inside garments or bags.

• The Laundry Room Collective is not responsible for damage caused by pens, markers, crayons, gum, lip balm, cosmetics, food, money, tissues, electronics, batteries, keys, medications, sharp objects, or other items left in pockets or bags.

• When personal belongings are found, we will make a reasonable effort to return them to the client.

SATISFACTION POLICY

• Customer satisfaction is important to us. If there is an issue involving a missing item, damaged item, incorrect processing, product selection, folding quality, delivery, or another service concern, the client must notify The Laundry Room Collective within 24 hours of delivery.

• Reports should include the client’s name, order information, a description of the concern, and photographs when applicable.

• Any concerns reported after 24 hours of delivery may not be eligible for review, adjustment, reprocessing, account credit, refund, or compensation.

• The Laundry Room Collective reserves the right to inspect the affected item and evaluate all reported issues before determining an appropriate resolution.

• Depending on the circumstances, an approved resolution may include reprocessing, an account credit, an adjustment to the service charge, or other reasonable compensation at the discretion of The Laundry Room Collective.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• If The Laundry Room Collective is determined to be responsible for the loss of or damage to an item, compensation will be based on the item’s current fair market value rather than its original purchase price.

• The item’s age, condition, normal depreciation, available documentation, and the circumstances of the claim may be considered.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability will be limited to the item’s fair market value or the total cost of the laundry service provided for the applicable order, whichever is less.

• The Laundry Room Collective is not responsible for sentimental value, replacement inconvenience, loss of use, lost income, or other indirect or consequential damages.

RIGHT TO REFUSE OR DISCONTINUE SERVICE

• The Laundry Room Collective reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue service for any lawful reason.

• This may include unsafe property conditions, abusive or threatening behavior, repeated missed pickups, repeated last-minute cancellations, repeated nonpayment, hazardous items, undisclosed contamination, requests that could damage equipment, or violations of these Terms & Conditions.

• The client remains responsible for all charges incurred before service is discontinued.

CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL

• The Laundry Room Collective is not liable for delays or failure to provide service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

• This may include severe weather, road closures, vehicle problems, equipment failure, utility outages, illness, emergencies, government restrictions, natural disasters, supply interruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• When reasonably possible, affected clients will be contacted and service will be rescheduled or completed as soon as practical.

PRIVACY

• Client information may be collected and used for scheduling, route coordination, billing, payment processing, communication, account management, and providing requested services.

• The Laundry Room Collective does not sell client information.

• Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to process payments, operate the booking platform, complete delivery routes, comply with legal requirements, or provide requested services.

POLICY CHANGES

• The Laundry Room Collective may update its pricing, services, policies, or Terms & Conditions as business needs change.

• Updated policies may be posted on our website or booking platform. Continued use of services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policies.

GOVERNING LAW

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
